A program that includes all significant historic sites related to the start of the Reformation and opportunities to perform in some of the most important spaces related to Martin Luther's life. This short tour includes visits to the Schlosskirche (Castle Church) where Luther posted the 95 theses that changed the world, the Stadtkirche as well as the Luther House in Wittenberg. See where Luther translated the Bible in a small room on the Wartburg. Experience the small town of Eisleben where he was born and where he died. Perform in Leipzig or Berlin, cities that were home to some of the greatest composers such Bach, Mendelssohn, Richard Strauss and Wagner who were inspired by what transpired on this monumental day on Oct. 31, 1517. Participate in a Music Worship Service together with our German brothers and sisters. Your journey includes devotional study time, opportunities to perform the songs and hymns of the Reformation, time to explore and connect with fellow musicians and parishioners and pray for the renewal and unity of the church.
