The Reformation Trail 9-days / 7-nights
The Reformation Trail program follows the life story of Martin Luther and of one of Germany’s greatest composers, Johann Sebastian Bach. Visit all the sites associated with the Reformation and Martin Luther’s live including the Veste Coburg where Luther stayed during the Diet of Augsburg, the Wartburg Castle, the Augustinian Monastery in Erfurt, the Luther Birth and Death Houses in Eisleben and of course the Stadtkirche and the Schlosskirche in Wittenberg. In Leipzig follow in the footsteps of J.S. Bach who was the cantor at St. Thomas and at St. Nicolai Church. Bach spent his most creative years in Leipzig and is buried in the sanctuary of the Thomaskirche. The 9-day Reformation Trail program ends with two nights in Germany’s capital city of Berlin.
